THE BARE ESSENTIALS - Provincial Annual Service Project – GGC,
Ontario Council
This year, in support of the national focus on violence
against girls and women, donations of hats, mitts,
socks and underwear are being collected for distribution
at women’s shelters. We can personally purchase
an item but service implies going the ‘extra
mile’. The Provincial Annual planning team would
like to challenge you to use your time and talents
to create your items for donation. Unit Guiders, parent
volunteers, Trefoil Guilds, Resource Guiders can all
play a role in helping our girls understand the meaning
of ‘service’ and also learning new skills.
