Our Summer Camps' staff team for 2012 will be comprised of over 100 employees and almost 80 volunteers at Camps Adelaide, Doe Lake, Woolsey and Wyoka!  Ensure you're part of the excitement!

 Notes about Volunteer Applications
  • Each volunteer will be contacted by a Camp Director within 3 weeks of receiving your contract.  Usually a phone conversation takes place to discuss new initiatives at camp, your preferred role at camp and the camp's needs.

 Notes about Employee Applications
  • Our Camping Staff Coordinator, Leeanne Federico, will be back in touch with you if there is something missing from your application.  If you would like to confirm that we received your application, please e-mail Leeanne for a receipt.
  • Our 2012 Camp Directors will review your application.  If we're still looking to fill the position you've applied for and you've got the appropriate qualifications then an interview will be set up.  
  • From the time we receive your completed application, through the interview/reference check process, until a position offer is extended to you usually takes us about a month.
  • We thank everyone for considering Girl Guides of Canada, Ontario Council's Summer Camps as a place of employement.  However, we received hundreds of applications each year for a few employee roles so our resources only allow us to follow up with persons we are interested in interviewing.
