Each year Members of Girl Guides of Canada participate in two cookie campaigns:
- Chocolatey Mint campaign (September through December)
- Classic Chocolate and Vanilla sandwich (March through June)

- Public Speaking
- Records Management
- Logistics
- Finance Management
- Customer Service
The proceeds from each campaign are used to create a fun and rewarding experience for all girls in Guiding. It helps each unit and girl in the following ways:
- Allows units and girls to attend various camps and events
- Provides funding to support unit activities
- Provides the resources to develop unit specific programming
In Ontario Cookie sales also support:
- Girl Membership fees
- Camperships (financial assistance) to assist girls to attend both Unit and event camps as well as Summer Camps
- Independent international travel
- Girl program
- User space costs for Unit meetings
- Appointment and membership pins for adults
- Adult membership fees
- Training opportunities
- Staff support at the community and provincial levels
