Why are there two ordering systems for crests?
The national GGC organization provides all core program and special national challenge crests across the country through their e-store. The national organization does not sell provincial challenge crests. Each province has a process for the distribution of their crests. In Ontario our Members can order through the submission of an online form.
What payment is accepted for Ontario crest orders?
Units and Guilds should be using a transfer through centralized banking. Ontario Members that are not with a Unit or Guild or Girl Guide or Girl Scout members from outside Ontario click here to place your order (Members from outide Ontario can pay by credit card).
Will payment for Ontario crests be accepted at office locations?
No, we cannot accept payment at office locations.
Can we pick up Ontario challenge crests and resource CDs from office locations?
You can only pick up from the GGC, Ontario Council office at 14 Birch Avenue in Toronto, but only if you have pre-ordered and provided payment.
Can I place an order at thegirlguidestore.ca and bundle the merchandise with the Ontario challenge crest order?
There are two separate order and distribution systems so this is not possible.
How much will I pay for shipping for Ontario challenge crests or resource CDs?
There is no extra charge for shipping. The cost is already within the price of the item.
Can I return Ontario Council challenge crests, resources and pins if I don't need them?
No, you may only return items if they are damaged and a replacement will be forwarded to you.
