TWO CATEGORIES - ONE PRIZE FOR EACH CATEGORY


PRIZE

  • Up to $250 will be paid to the Unit to subsidize the cost of their camp.
  • Please read the contest rules below for complete details of prize payout.

    CATEGORIES

    1. Most creative event organized and carried out, girl lead, to raise funds for and awareness of the Canadian World Friendship Fund.
    2. Most dollars raised by a Unit(s) in the 2011-2012 Guiding year.


    CONTEST RULES

    1. CWFF event must take place between September 1,2011 and April 30, 2012.
    2. Category two is based on amount raised per person in registered Unit.
    3. All monies earmarked for the CWFF must be deposited into the Units account no later than May 1, 2012.
    4. Events for category one will be judged by the International Specialty Community.
    5. Camp Locations - for Units south of North Bay the camp must be held at a Girl Guide property. For Units north and west of North Bay the camp may be held at an approved site.
    6. Prize money will be paid directly to the accommodation fee or to the Unit upon receipt of proof of expenses paid.
    7. Unit has to the end of the calendar year to collect their prize.
    8. You can develop your own camp program or for your convenience a suggested International camp program, schedule and menu will be available upon request.
